Rigby's form may be delivered, faxed, or emailed. It asks for the requester's contact details, accident or incident choice, case number, event date, parties, location, involvement, added details, and preferred email, fax, or mail delivery. Rigby notes that incident reports may take 7 to 10 days after an event and may be released only when no longer under investigation.
For JCSO, send the focused request to the sheriff records unit. ISP District 6 maintains the state-police route. There is no verified separate police records unit for Menan or Ririe, and Ririe straddles Jefferson and Bonneville counties. Confirm the incident county before choosing a custodian.
Jefferson Arrests Reach Court Quickly
Idaho Criminal Rule 5 requires an arrested person to appear before a magistrate without unreasonable delay and no more than 24 hours after arrest, excluding weekends and holidays. A limited hospitalization exception applies. For a warrantless detention, probable cause must be determined by the first appearance or the person must be released on recognizance.
