1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. We operate on our own with no ties to any government office. We do not store official criminal records and we cannot pull records, run official background checks, or file documents for anyone.

We point readers to Jefferson County Sheriff, the county courts, Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification, and the Idaho Central Sex Offender Registry, along with third-party tools that may assist lawful research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Idaho Code §§18-8326 and 18-8413 give the registry warning real force, and Idaho Code §74-120 restricts commercial use and list compilation. Registry data serves public awareness, not vigilantism.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any check for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come from an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider and follow applicable law.

Nothing here is legal advice. General Jefferson County record information cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or relief rule applies to a person. Consult a licensed Idaho attorney for that advice.

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

All text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Jefferson County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, distribution, modification, or derivative use requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using this site - including decisions made based on information found here or through any linked service.
